Borrowing

You need your WCDSB STUDENT CARD to borrow library items. 

  • Maximum of 4 books (maximum 2 books on the same subject)
  • Sign outs are for 2 week
  • You can renew if no one has requested the book
  • Fines may be applied for late books
  • Fines will be applied for lost books

You are responsible for returning materials by the due date stamped in the front of the book. Please renew by the due date if you would like to keep the book(s) longer.

 

 

Expectations

Student behaviour expectations include good manners and respectful consideration for all users before, during and after school.

  • Students need to be in full uniform during the school day including spares and lunches (exceptions Spirit nd Civvies Days)
  • No Food or Drink (expect water in a closed container and not near computers or Chromebooks)
  • WCDSB Acceptable Use Policy is in effect on school library computers. 
  • Must be focused on School related work or reading
  • Study carrels are for individual quiet work.
  • Tables are available for group collaborative work.

Hours

  • Open during the School Year
  • Monday, Wednesday and Thursday 7:45 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Tuesday and Friday 7:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
  • Open at lunch and supervised by a teacher (librarian is available last 10 minutes of lunch)
  • If the library is closed for a special event, meeting, etc. a sign will be posted on the door.
